Sometimes Life Isn’t Welfare

I just joined a group of Facebook.com called “Making Drug Tests Required To Get Welfare.” Check out my FB page if you want to see the link.
What struck me as very sad the second i started reading some of the comments is how people immediately turned this into a racial issue. That’s the last thing I thought when i joined the group. I just thought it was a worthwhile group to join.
After reading some of the crap, I decided to add my two cents. Here’s what I wrote: “Drugs know no color… why is everything about race? Hell, I don’t care about a junkie’s race, but I do care about my hard earned money paying for someone’s crack. Got an addiction? Get a job!!!”
Sorry if that offends, but that’s how I feel. I’m sick and tired of everyone blaming everything on race… We all belong to one race… the human race. Why can’t we all just accept that?
I don’t know who the man in the picture is, but he must smoke a lot of MJ, because he is growing some big tits. He ought to button up that big oversize shirt and hide those things.
amen, drugs aren’t about race….i offered a homeless guy some left over food the other day and he refused and yelled at me bc i didn’t give him a couple of dollars. i would of helped feed him but i damn sure not going to help his drinking and smoking problems…same goes for the welfare…if you want gov’t support and support of hard working americans, then stay drug free and i would take it one step further and say they can’t be criminals or have a criminal record either.
I couldn’t have said it better myself!
