The hotel we’re staying at in Metairie just informed us they are evacuating everyone Sunday morning at eight o’clock.
Employees have been busy cutting plywood to put on the windows.  I’m not sure when they will start boarding the place up, but my guess would be as soon as the last person is out the door.

I just finished packing my bag for the gulf.  I’ll be heading down south first thing in the morning.  I’m kind of excited, but apprehensive at the same time.  Pray nobody is seriously injured when it makes landfall.  I’ve already prayed for those who have lost their lives.

I just read an article on Yahoo! news about some Nigerian authority who said victims of the famous “nigerian scams” should be jailed too.  He called them just as greedy as the scammers.  I think the morons are just trying to justify their illegal behavior.  How can they milk thousands of people dry with bogus [...]
